A Formal Study of Interactions in Multi-Agent Systemsen
Communication / Conférence
This paper presents an original approach to model, analyze, and design interactions in multi-agent systems. It combines two complementary paradigms: observation in distributed systems and interaction in multi-agent systems. The first paradigm is frequently used to observe concurrent activities in distributed systems through the causal dependency of events. The second paradigm provides an interesting framework to formalize complex interaction between agents. Our approach is based on distributed observation of events inherent to agents' interactions, which may explain relationships within conversations, or group utterances in order to improve agent's behavior.en
